Virtual Field Trip
Hey 6th grade music students, once you have completed your Virtual Field Trip to visit the San Francisco Symphony, post to the blog your favorite part of the website using at least two (2) complete sentences. Don't forget to tell your families about Yo-Yo Ma the world famous cellist. Two additional unique things to remember are: Osmo Vanska is the conductor of the Minnesota Orchestra, and (I'm not making this up) Iccolo Miccolo played the piccolo in the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

I really liked being able to listen to a lot of instruments. It was cool being able to make my own music also.
I thought it was koolio man. you could listen to all the different types of music and conduct you own music.
I thought it was cool when you could play the piano. It was cool to be able to make your own song.
I thought it was really cool to make your own music on the composerizer and to listen to things on the RADIO.

It was fun being able to play some world wide famous songs yourself (and they sound good). Especially since my brother has been trying to play piano and is not coming along so well!!!

It was really fun listening to and learning about all of the instruments. It was also really fun composing your own music and you got to hear what you composed too!!!!!
