I learned so much about Woodie Guthrie. In 5th grade we had to sing his song "This Land Is Your Lamd" for a concert. This activity was so fun for me. I love his song " The Many and the Few!!!"

When i first heard that woody wrote "This Land is Your Land" I didn't think that he wrote it. I never knew he played three instruments. Did you find out that he played the fiddle?:)

it was really fun learning about woody guthrie and i liked reading the songs thathe wrote.
I think its cool that he played a lot of instruments and lived through World War 2! I enjoyed learning about woody guthrie, but it got kind of annoying when Savannah started to sing (she scares me sometimes)

I thought this scavenger hunt wa very useful because it not only taught me about woody Guthrie But helped by finding information by myself. I hope we'll have another one of these somtime soon.
I wish we had some of Woody Guthrie's music here at school! Then we could all listen to his work on the morning show. I guess I'd better go shopping so everyone at CMSW can learn more about this wonderful composer. Keep listening and learning!

I learned many things about Woody Guthrie. I learned that he was a free spirited man and just let life go how it was supposed to go and not try to change it. This was a great activity, and I hope to do another activity on a composer soon!

OMG i learned so much about woody Gutherie!! He was a extream somker which grossed the heck out of me! But he did have a really hard life when he was little with most of his familey dieing in the fire!(I spelled that wrong!) He wrote over 100 songs! wowwie! hawhaw. I really liked this project because we got to research more about Woody Guthrie. I learned that he smoked, and he lived during the Great Dust Storm, the Great Depression, and World War II. His lyrics were...interesting too! Well I hope that we get to go down to the media center more often in the future.
